ઉધમપુરમાં સૈનિકોને સંબોધન કરતા સંરક્ષણ પ્રધાન રાજનાથ સિંહે જણાવ્યું હતું કે ભારતના ભારના હુમલાના ભારતના વળતર બાદ પાકિસ્તાનને ઘૂંટવાની ફરજ પડી હતી. તેમણે ચેતવણી આપી હતી કે ઇસ્લામાબાદ માટે આતંકવાદની કોઈપણ કૃત્ય ભારે કિંમતે આવશે. ભારતના વલણની પુષ્ટિ આપતા સિંહે જણાવ્યું હતું કે ઓપરેશન સિંદૂર ફક્ત વિરામ પર છે અને આતંક દ્વારા નુકસાન પહોંચાડવાના પાકિસ્તાનના પ્રયત્નો ક્યારેય સફળ નહીં થાય. અમે ફક્ત તેમની યોજનાઓને નિષ્ફળ કરી જ નહીં, પણ આવી બદલો લેવાની કાર્યવાહી પણ કરી કે પાકિસ્તાનને ઘૂંટણિયે રાખવું પડ્યું. સંરક્ષણ પ્રધાને જણાવ્યું હતું કે ભારતીય ધરતી પર થયેલા કોઈપણ આતંકવાદી હુમલાથી પાકિસ્તાનનો ખૂબ જ ખર્ચ થશે.
