ભારતીય નૌકાદળે ઓમાનના અખાતમાં મધ્ય સમુદ્રમાં બચાવ કામગીરી હાથ ધરી છે. સળગતા જહાજના SOS કોલનો જવાબ આપતા સ્ટીલ્થ ફ્રિગેટ INS તબારે મદદ કરી હતી. આગમાં લપેટાયેલા જહાજમાંથી ભારતીય મૂળના 14 ક્રૂ સભ્યોને બચાવી લેવામાં આવ્યા હતા. ભારતીય નૌકાદળે એક ટ્વિટ દ્વારા આ કામગીરીની પુષ્ટિ કરી, જેમાં આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય પાણીમાં સંકટકાલીન કોલ પર ઝડપી પ્રતિભાવ આપવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
