કોંગ્રેસની ઉત્તરાખંડ એકમે રવિવારે કેદારનાથ નજીક હેલિકોપ્ટર દુર્ઘટનાને અત્યંત દુઃખદ અને દુર્ભાગ્યપૂર્ણ ગણાવી હતી અને તેના માટે ભાજપ સરકારના બેદરકાર અને બેદરકાર હવાઈ સેવા નિયમોને જવાબદાર ઠેરવ્યા હતા. કેદારનાથ મંદિરથી યાત્રાળુઓને લઈ જતું એક હેલિકોપ્ટર રવિવારે વહેલી સવારે ગૌરીકુંડના જંગલોમાં નબળી દૃશ્યતા વચ્ચે ક્રેશ થયું હતું, જેમાં સવાર તમામ સાત લોકોના મોત થયા હતા. 30 એપ્રિલથી યાત્રા શરૂ થયા પછી ચારધામ યાત્રા રૂટ પર આ પાંચમો હેલિકોપ્ટર અકસ્માત હતો. ઉત્તરાખંડ પ્રદેશ કોંગ્રેસ સમિતિના વરિષ્ઠ ઉપાધ્યક્ષ (સંગઠન) સૂર્યકાંત ધસ્માનાએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે રાજ્યમાં ચારધામ યાત્રા શરૂ થયાને માત્ર એક મહિનો અને થોડા દિવસ થયા છે, પરંતુ પાંચ હેલિકોપ્ટર અકસ્માતો થઈ ચૂક્યા છે. આજના અકસ્માતમાં લોકોના જીવ ગુમાવવાના સમાચાર છે, જે અત્યંત દુઃખદ અને દુર્ભાગ્યપૂર્ણ છે. તેમણે અહીં જારી કરેલા એક નિવેદનમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે ઉત્તરાખંડની ભાજપ સરકારના બેદરકાર અને બેદરકાર હવાઈ સેવા નિયમો આ માટે સંપૂર્ણપણે જવાબદાર છે.
